At the beginning of April, one of the most important and large job fairs took place in Veliko Tarnovo. In recent years, more and more specialized tourism professionals have been sought in the promotion of tourism development, in particular pilgrimage, religious and culinary tourism. On April 18, 2019, 40 companies preseneted 400 jobs positions on the job market in Veliko Tarnovo. Almost all companies in the region are experiencing hunger for workers, but few people already want to work for little money and under poor working conditions are the main findings of the contact labor market organized by the local Labor Office.
Candidates for the job could not be found even at good salaries, representatives of the companies, including "Sugar factories", "Road constructions VT", "Prestige", numerous hoteliers and establishments convinced during the exchange. The other major conclusion that can be drawn is that secondary and high schools are not as adequate in the labor market and do not prepare staff to meet the needs of the business.
Specialists and general workers for industry, tourism, construction are sought.
