If your desired profession (or a related profession) is available in both Vocational Training Centers (in Bulgaria and Romania), your training can be done jointly, with mobility between the two countries.
The theoretical preparation and training of the trainees is held at the premises of the Cross-border Center for Facilitation of Labor Mobility in the cities of Dobrich and Constanta. For this purpose, modern training facilities for training in culinary and restaurant field, including a modern equipped kitchen with a demonstration hall, are established at the contact point of the Center in Dobrich. Both Vocational Training Centers (in Bulgaria and Romania) have a wide network of partner organizations, including establishments, restaurants, bars, etc. where practices can be conducted.
Thus, for example, theoretical training and / or training practice in the profession can take place in Bulgaria, and production practice (WBL training) - in Romania, or vice versa.
Combined theory and practice training is also possible - first in one country and then in the other.
The options are numerous, customized to your preferences and opportunities for training. Contact us to provide you with a specific solution.
You want to work across the border but don't know the language?
The Cross-border Center for Facilitation of Labor Mobility offers periodic foreign language training, including:
- Romanian language for Bulgarians;
- Bulgarian language for Romanians;
- English language adapted for the tourism industry and others.
Follow the announcements in the NEWS section for current foreign language courses, or contact us to provide you with up-to-date information.
If more than 10 persons are interested, the Center may form a training group and the curriculum can be tailored to the needs of the trainees - for example, a specialized foreign language by profession, focused on specific terminology, or according to the requirements of the employer, etc.
Have you worked before as a cook, waiter, baker, etc., but do not have valid documents certifying your knowledge and skills?
The Cross-border Center for Facilitation of Labor Mobility, through the licensed Vocational Training Centers at the partners’ oirganizations in Bulgaria and Romania, can validate your knowledge and skills acquired in an informal environment and issue a nationally recognized professional qualification certificate.
As the validation procedure has some specifics depending on the country in which it is carried out, please contact one of our contact points in Bulgaria or Romania to inform you for details.
