DABS organizes a course for vocational training for Cooks

The course is for part of the profession Cook, specialty: Production of culinary products and beverages.

Document after completion of the course: Certificate of professional training for a training course - 330 teaching hours; 
Start of the course: 11/01/2019 
Deadline for registration: 10/25/2019 


The course focuses on the specifics of working in the profession in the cross-border region Bulgaria-Romania, specifically addressing the specifics of the Romanian national cuisine. 

We offer a flexible form of group training, adequate to the modern dynamics of life. The training is conducted at a time convenient for the group of students for maximum comfort and convenience.

The training provides an opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills for:
• Regulatory requirements for healthy and safe working conditions
• Requirements for personal and industrial hygiene and hygiene at work
• Preliminary preparation of food products
• Storage of products, semi-finished products and finished products according to technological and sanitary requirements
• Preparation of culinary products and beverages
• Effective use of the material and technical base
• Work with reporting documents

Curriculum:
• Health and safety labour conditions
• Food hygiene and food legislation
• Technological equipment in the restaurants and entertainment establishments
• Culinary production technology
• Food science and products
• Microbiology
• Economics and accountancy of the company
• History and traditions of Romanian cuisine
• Specifics in the preparation of typical Romanian dishes
• Food design and presentation

Required documents for enrollment in a course:
• a copy of a diploma for completed education (secondary or 10th grade);
•    medical certificate;
•   passport format photos - 2 pcs .;
•    Application form.


The course will start with a minimum of 12 people enrolled for a full course of study.
