Bulgaria and Germany will deepen their partnership in vocational training

At a meeting of the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Natalia Efremova, with representatives of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the possibilities for strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of the labor market, the conduct of training for professional qualifications and the integration of young people were outlined people in the framework of the ALMA initiative.

Natalia Efremova emphasized that Bulgaria is willing to develop its bilateral relations with Germany in all areas that would improve the opportunities for professional realization of Bulgarian citizens. She drew attention to the low level of unemployment in Bulgaria of 4.7% and presented the main measures and programs of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy to promote employment. Among them are training for qualification and retraining of workers, improving the quality of the workforce, activating economically inactive people, as well as close cooperation with employers.

During the meeting, both sides undertook to deepen their partnership through dual training, exchange of expertise and certification of professional skills through the activity of the Bulgarian-German Center for Professional Training.
