The ICARUS project is aimed at promoting and supporting labor mobility in the culinary and restaurant business in the Bulgaria-Romania cross-border region.

To that end, a set of tools and services were developed and delivered in support of the employees and job seekers in the tourism sector on both sides of the border.

The project was implemented between April 2017 and April 2019 within the framework of the Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Program. Partners in the initiative are "Dobrudja Agrarian and Business School" Association (DABS) - Dobrich, Bulgaria (leading organization) and "Choose Your Profession" Association (ATP) - Vocational Training Center - Constanta, Romania. All the project results, resources and outputs as well as the implemented initiatives that activate workforce mobility in the cross-border area are accessible here. This project is for:

Job seekers interested in CB employment in the culinary and restaurant business and especially young people

Business companies in the culinary and restaurant business and their associations

VET centers and educational institutions in the tourism related sectors
